1. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Local storage is a related browser feature that holds larger amounts of data on your device and, unlike a cookie, is never sent to a server automatically. Runner Gacha uses local storage for your game progress and relies on our advertising partner's cookies for advertising.
Cookies are described as first-party when set by runnergacha.com and third-party when set by another domain, such as Google's ad servers.
2. What we use, exactly
2.1 Strictly necessary — always active
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent.

2.2 Functional — your game
These store your progress and preferences on your own device. They contain no personal identifiers and are never used for advertising.

Clearing site data for runnergacha.com deletes all of these — and, if you are not signed in, your progress with them.
2.3 Advertising — consent required
Set by Google and its advertising partners when you accept. They serve ads, cap how often you see the same one, measure whether an ad worked, and — with your consent — personalise what you are shown.

Google may change the exact cookie names it uses. The authoritative, current list is Google's own Types of cookies used by Google.
2.4 Analytics — consent required
Aggregate measurement of how many people visit and which pages they read. Analytics storage is denied until you accept.
3. How consent works here
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Before any ad request is made, the page declares a default consent state. Until you choose:
ad_storage,ad_user_data,ad_personalizationandanalytics_storageare all set to denied;ads_data_redactionis enabled, so identifiers are stripped from ad requests;- ads are requested as non-personalised.
Choosing "Accept all" updates that state to granted. Choosing "Reject non-essential" leaves it denied. Either way the game works identically — the only difference is how relevant the ads are.
4. Turning cookies off
4.1 In Runner Gacha
Use Cookie settings to reopen the banner and change your answer. It takes effect immediately.
4.2 In your browser
Blocking all storage will stop your game progress from saving.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no industry-agreed response to the Do Not Track header, so we do not act on it. We do honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information where your browser sends one.

We update this page when the technologies we use change. The date at the top reflects the current version.
